LG Display partners with Harrods

LG Display partners with Harrods to bring state-of-the-art OLED technology to the heart of the retail experience.

In an impressive launch event at Harrods on 29th July, LG Display unveiled a stunning installation featuring OLED technology and the latest TVs from leading brands including LG, Bang & Olufsen, Panasonic and Philips. The cutting-edge OLED TVs all use panels made by LG Display, and all feature in the famous windows that flank Door 5 of the iconic Knightsbridge building. 

 In addition to showcasing the latest OLED TVs in the windows and in-store, LG Display and Harrods have also launched a campaign in partnership with the UK’s leading children’s charity, the NSPCC. Until the 1st September, there is a window at Harrods where customers can simply touch a hand on the window and donate up to £100,000 to the charity. All funds raised through the window takeover will go directly towards the NSPCC’s vital services in London.

 

As part of the collaboration, a brand new OLED zone will also be installed on Harrods’ Fifth Floor, where visitors can fully experience what OLED TVs can offer. The opulence of OLED makes it a fitting partner for both Harrods and the leading brands that are part of the installation.
